There are several options open to you in terms of financing your IESE MBA. As an IESE student you may be eligible to apply for a number of loans, including the MBA Global Loan.

Loan Programs

IESE – BANCO SABADELL GLOBAL LOAN

The Global Loan is the result of a partnership between IESE Business School and Banco Sabadell, Spain’s fourth-largest bank. It provides financing towards tuition fees. More than 1500 students have financed their studies through the loan since 2004.

The loan aims to ensure that there are financial options available for any exceptional individual with the potential to become a world-class manager. The loan may cover up to 80% of the tuition fees (as long as the bank´s requirements are fulfilled).

IESE - CAIXABANK LOAN

IESE Business School and CaixaBank, one of Spain’s leading financial institutions, have reached an agreement to create a financing line with special conditions for students of IESE’s MBA program. The loan program forms part of a long-standing relationship between the two institutions.

PRODIGY FINANCE LOAN PROGRAM FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS

IESE Business School works with Prodigy Finance to offer an innovative lending model providing community-funded loans to international students. Accepted students into the full-time MBA program are eligible to apply.

The loan provides financing towards tuition fees through the assessment of applicants’ future earning potential (based on the past achievements of similar graduates) to determine loan affordability.

The Prodigy program is applicable to 150 nationalities. For more information, please check the Financial Aid Office website.

U.S. FEDERAL DIRECT LOANS FOR U.S. AND ELIGIBLE NON U.S. STUDENTS

IESE Business School is registered at the U.S. Department of Education as an accredited foreign school and participates in the William D. Ford Federal Direct Loan program. Eligible students may apply for the Federal Direct Unsubsidized Loan and Federal Direct PLUS Loan and may borrow up to their full cost of attendance for their program minus any other financial aid received.

According to the regulation of the Education Department, students receiving US Direct Loans cannot take more than 25% of the program’s credits in the United States or at another international institution that isn’t eligible for the US Direct Loan program.

US PRIVATE LOANS (SALLIE MAE & JUNO/EARNEST)

Sallie Mae helps U.S. citizens to save, plan, and pay for their education. Their Graduate Student Loans are available to American students at IESE.

Juno/Earnest (formerly LeverEdge) is a collective bargaining organization for student loans. They negotiate with lenders to provide a deal available to U.S. Citizens and International Students with a valid U.S. cosigner.

GI BILL
Americans who qualify can apply for benefits through the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs G.I. Bill. For more information, please check the Financial Aid Office website.

CANADIAN GOVERNMENT LOANS
Canadian students may be eligible for government student loans. For more information, please check the Financial Aid Office website.

LENDWISE LOANS

Lendwise is a leading UK-based student loan platform dedicated to postgraduate and professional qualification loans. A Lendwise loan comes with a competitive interest rate that is fixed for the entire duration of the loan and flexibility with no fees or charges for early repayments. The loan covers your tuition fees (less any commitment and reservation fees and scholarships) and its assessment is based on, amongst other things, your future earnings potential.
